Take care of yourself and
make it a great day!
Remember to celebrate responsibly before and after the event.
Review the processional lineup map before you arrive.
Wear comfortable shoes—there is a reason we say this so many times. And be aware of obstacles during the processional, such as medians.
If you are sensitive to loud sounds, consider bringing earplugs as there will be speakers on the field.
Bring extra water and snacks in your clear bag.
Be mindful of individual and interpersonal safety—remember we are all celebrating together.
Prepare for the weather, which is currently predicted to have a high of 69° and be mostly cloudy. Commencement occurs rain or shine. Open umbrellas are not permitted in the stadium.
Before the event, decide with your guests where you'll meet them after the ceremony; cell service can be spotty with a full stadium.
There may be additional activities occurring in Corvallis that day so prepare for increased traffic to and from the event. Parking is free on Commencement day but if possible, walk, carpool or use the Beaver Shuttle Buses.
Check out the commencement parking map which includes shuttle stops.
